Summer sea & canal kayaking in Bude
From April to September we paddle outdoors in Bude, on the sea and on Bude Canal. Sessions suit new paddlers and experienced kayakers alike, with friendly, qualified coaches on hand.
Every Wednesday, April – September

- 6pm – 8pm
- Meet
- Summerleaze Beach Car Park, Bude EX23 8HN. Look for the club kayak trailer near the Lifeboat Station.
- Canoe polo
- Fortnightly on Mondays, 6:30pm – 8pm, Bude Canal, Breakwater Road
- Bring
- Suitable swimwear. All kit and boats provided.

Summer at the club
Summer is also our season for surf kayaking competitions, canoe polo tournaments and club trips. Highlights include the Big Paddle Clean Up in Bude, the club Summer BBQ on the beach, and our own Andy Hambley Trophy on August Bank Holiday Monday.
