Try kayaking for free
Everyone has to start somewhere.... We all did! We know what it's like... committing to anything without knowing what's involved is a bit much sometimes. That's why we offer a Free Trial to those that are new to Bude Canoe Club.
How to book
- Sign up on our Spond page.
- Drop us a message on Spond, Instagram or by email at budecanoeclub@gmail.com to let us know you'd like to come along.
- Come along with suitable swimwear. We have all the equipment you will need.
Why not bring a friend to try it out too?
When & where
- Winter
- Every Wednesday, 7pm – 9pm, October to March. Holsworthy Leisure Centre swimming pool, EX22 6LB. Arrive from 6:45pm.
- Summer
- Every Wednesday, 6pm – 8pm, April to September. Summerleaze Beach Car Park, Bude EX23 8HN, by the club kayak trailer near the Lifeboat Station.
- Who
- Ages 5 and up, no upper age limit. Under 16? Please message us first to talk about swimming and paddling ability.

- Free – bring a friend too
- Pay as you go
- £12 per session
- All Inclusive – adults
- £25 per month (over 18s)
- All Inclusive – juniors & concessions
- £15 per month (18 & under, 60 & over)
